Job Description
Plant and Equipment Builders EFZ manufacture housings for pipe systems, parts of production plants, metal cabinets, air conditioning systems, household appliances, and even aircraft components based on technical drawings. To process sheets, metal profiles, and pipes, they use not only traditional tools such as saws, bending machines, and welding equipment but also high-tech tools like computer-controlled bending machines, welding robots, and laser cutting systems. Despite many machines, the profession is strongly characterised by manual work; men and women who are proactive and enjoy hands-on tasks are sought.

Vocational School
The theoretical training is acquired by the apprentice 1 to 2 days a week at the vocational school BBZ Economy, Informatics and Technology in Emmen. With very good school performance, the vocational baccalaureate school can be attended during basic training.
