Religious Studies Instructor
Graubünden Cantonal School | 10–30% | Chur
The Graubünden Cantonal School is an important educational institution with about 1000 students from all three cantonal languages. As a division of the Office for Upper Secondary Education, it offers secondary school education at the long and short gymnasium as well as specialized, commercial, and computer science secondary schools. As a Religious Studies Instructor, you will teach students at the lower gymnasium level.
For August 1, 2026, we are looking for a Religious Studies Instructor for our school
Your field of responsibilities
- Teach the basic subject "religion" at the lower gymnasium. The subject does not include any confessional religious instruction but addresses the historical development of religions and their function for societies, groups, and individuals
- Organize and conduct project weeks, class events, and excursions in the team with other instructors
- Take on various tasks within the section
- Collaborate on development projects for the entire school
What we wish from you
- Completed university studies in the field of "religious studies" as well as a teaching diploma for maturity schools
- Experience teaching at the secondary II level as well as a qualification for an additional subject is an advantage
- A flexible and proactive personality who is able to work in a team and enjoys working with young people. Additionally, we seek a communicative person who takes responsibility and is happy to engage in school life
- As an instructor at the trilingual school, knowledge of the other cantonal languages completes your profile
