Orbital Welder

Are you a precise craftsman with an eye for perfect welds? The Basel region is the centre of the Swiss chemical and pharmaceutical industry – and it is here that we are seeking your expertise!

For our client, a renowned company in pipeline and plant construction, we are looking for a committed and qualified orbital welder (m/f)

Your tasks:

• Setting up, tack welding and welding of high-quality pipeline systems (chrome steel/stainless steel)

• Professional operation of orbital welding systems

• Working according to isometrics, construction and R&I flow diagrams

• Visual and dimensional quality control of welds (if necessary endoscopy) as well as maintaining the associated documentation

• Compliance with strict occupational safety and quality guidelines on construction sites

Your profile:

• Several years of proven professional experience as an orbital welder

• Mandatory: Valid welding certificates (e.g. according to EN ISO 14732 / EN ISO 9606-1)

• Solid and optimal experience in industrial pipeline construction

• Highly advantageous (but not mandatory): Experience in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry (working in GMP environments, cleanroom systems)

• High quality awareness as well as a very precise, clean and independent working style

• Good German language skills, spoken and written

• Driving licence category B is an advantage
