About the job
FASCINATION, PIONEERING SPIRIT AND INSPIRING TECHNOLOGY, THAT IS TUNNELLING - LET YOURSELF BE INFECTED!
Founded in 1922 as a small family business, Marti has grown over the decades. Today, more than 80 group companies from all areas of the construction industry belong to us. One of them is us, Marti Tunnel AG. We are a company active throughout Switzerland and internationally, with core expertise in underground construction. And it has a very good reputation in this field!
Do you want to experience how complex machines, systems and special constructions interact underground? Do you want to not only plan technology but also see it in use directly on the construction site and help shape it?
Then you are in the right place with us. Together with experienced professionals, you will learn tunnelling from the ground up and be comprehensively prepared for your future tasks.
JUNIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER
This is what you can achieve with usOn our tunnelling sites in Switzerland and abroad, you will increasingly take responsibility for planning installations and inventory as well as for the supervision of heavy equipment and special constructions. You will participate in maintenance, assembly and disassembly work, support the evaluation of machines and systems, and contribute to the procurement of inventory.
What you bring
You have completed a degree in mechanical engineering (ETH, FH or equivalent) and want to apply your technical knowledge not only at the desk but directly in practice. You are interested in complex machines, systems and construction processes and approach new challenges with commitment and curiosity.
You have very good German skills and can also communicate in English. Knowledge of a second national language is an advantage. Flexibility, openness to new things and willingness to work on construction sites in Switzerland and abroad complete your profile.
Experience technology. Take responsibility. Develop yourself.
You work on heavy equipment, installations and special constructions and experience directly how planning turns into functioning technology on the construction site. No tunnel project is like another – accordingly, your tasks and technical challenges are varied.
In doing so, you work in an experienced team and develop professionally and personally into a specialist in tunnelling.
Let’s shape the future together!
