The INTERMEDIATE STRUCTURE OF BOVERESSES offers services for acquiring and developing skills aimed at as independent a life as possible. At the end of a training pathway, the individuals concerned are supported towards a living environment best suited to their wishes, needs and abilities. To complete our team, we are looking for a qualified Social Educator or ASE (M/F) at a 50% activity rate.
Mission
Support young adults with mild intellectual disabilities and sometimes associated psychiatric disorders in their project of independence and autonomy. Implement time-limited support in an interdisciplinary manner in partnership with the person and their network to enable personal and professional orientation towards a suitable living environment.
Responsibilities
Be a guarantor of the values of inclusion, autonomy and social participation
Work in an interdisciplinary manner
Actively collaborate with internal and external networks
Ensure administrative tasks related to the people welcomed, the team and the institution
Participate in the upkeep (maintenance) of the house with residents and professionals (condition, needs...)
Ensure the quality of evaluation and future orientation of residents
Desired profile
Degree in social education (HES, ES, IPC) or ASE CFC with significant professional experience
Experience in psychiatry or complex situations is a plus
Knowledge of PPH, Mahvie grid and the Vaud network is an asset
Strong motivation for developing new educational actions, ability to manage several projects simultaneously and great availability
Relational skills, team spirit and ability to lead a work collective
Autonomy, reliability and ability to report on one’s activity
Organisational, writing skills and synthesis ability
Category B driving licence required

Permanent contract.
Irregular hours, weekend work on a rota, participation in camps.
