You have successfully completed your MLaw and have a flair for commercial, private, and banking law? Then we have an exciting internship position in a diverse and varied field of work at Bundesplatz in Bern starting from February 1, 2026! Additionally, there is the possibility for you to attend lectures for the bar exam. The remuneration amounts to CHF 5,200 to CHF 5,500.00 (x12) per month, depending on your level of education and experience.
What you will do
- You will actively work in the Legal & Compliance team of BEKB with the opportunity to learn about the diverse tasks and activities in this exciting area
- You will conduct legal clarifications, draft legal documents (such as legal openings/arrest requests, money laundering reports) and correspondence in ongoing legal disputes
- You will revise contracts or prepare them
- You will independently answer legal questions and inquiries from authorities (such as orders for production and bank inquiries)
- You will participate in internal projects and support the area in administrative matters
What you bring
- You have a successful MLaw degree, preferably you have attended lectures in the area of the Debt Enforcement and Bankruptcy Act, inheritance, and property law
- Ideally, you have already completed a court and/or law internship
- You are a service-oriented personality who enjoys working in a team as well as being precise, independent, and reliable
- You are confident in the German language, good knowledge of French is an advantage
- You are interested in legal and compliance topics in the banking environment
