The Compliance department is part of the Legal, Compliance & Regulatory division.

To strengthen the Authorities Enquiries division, we are looking for a Head Paralegal to start immediately or by arrangement.

We are addressing an honest, communicative and trustworthy personality with leadership experience, who is keen to competently commit to our bank and lead as well as operationally support the small Paralegal team.

Your tasks

• Professional leadership of the Paralegal team
• Associated reporting tasks
• Physical and electronic mail processing of authorities enquiries
• Review and processing of disclosure orders from investigative authorities, bankruptcy and debt enforcement offices, social services and SHAB publications
• Written and telephone communication with authorities and offices
• Maintaining and updating statistics in the area of authorities enquiries
• Willingness to assist with additional tasks

What you bring

• Several years of experience in the paralegal field with expertise in authorities enquiries such as disclosure orders, debt enforcement and bankruptcy law, SHAB notifications, attachment orders
• Several years of successful leadership experience in the paralegal field
• Completed commercial, legal or business administration training, ideally with a qualification in the paralegal field
• Very good German skills; good English and/or French skills are a plus
• High commitment, initiative and sense of responsibility
• Quick comprehension and enthusiasm to familiarise yourself with our core banking software
