About the job
The Baselland Red Cross is committed to supporting people in need with a variety of services. Around 130 employees and more than 500 volunteers help in emergency situations, engage in further education, health promotion, and integration of the population in the Basel region.
The "Support at Home" department offers help in everyday life to people in various life situations and circumstances. This includes care and support at home, the Red Cross emergency call, as well as relief for families.
For our care and support service, we are looking for a
Deployment Coordinator / 50-60 % starting March 1, 2026, or by arrangement
Your area of responsibility
Together with a colleague, you are responsible for the deployment planning of our care and support service. You receive requests, assess the situation based on a needs assessment, and decide on the best possible care solution. You plan and coordinate the assignments of the employees.
You advise customers and relatives by phone or on-site. You maintain contact with specialist agencies and inform them about our care services.
You support the employees professionally and accompany them during the deployment period.
Your profile
- Basic nursing education at tertiary level (HF, FH) with several years of professional experience
- Experience in Spitex as a case manager or in a similar position is mandatory
- Strong customer orientation and empathy
- Responsible, proactive, and resilient
- Careful, precise working style even in hectic situations
- Good IT skills
