Your tasks:
- As a train traffic controller, you are responsible for the safe and punctual execution of train and shunting movements, taking into account necessary inspections and precautions, such as route inspections, on signal boxes with simple/complex infrastructure
- In the event of operational disruptions, you carry out a risk assessment, maintain communication with all parties involved, and ensure safe train operations
- You work in compliance with the applicable regulations including local provisions as well as operational orders and instructions and document these
- You are also responsible for issuing, receiving, transmitting, and documenting operational messages, orders, commands, and timetable notifications
- You operate and monitor the signalling and safety technology systems as well as telecommunications systems assigned to you
Your profile:
- Completed vocational training as a train traffic controller (EiB F or lateral entry) as well as active qualification as a train traffic controller with very good knowledge of operational service
- Your working style is characterised by independence, diligence, and solution orientation
- To ensure trains run around the clock, you will be deployed in shift and alternating shifts as well as on weekends and public holidays
- We require unrestricted fitness for operational service as well as psychological suitability for the role of train traffic controller
- You also bring a valid driving licence class B and your own car
