Deputy Director, in charge of extracurricular care (2 to 12 years) – 80 to 100%, to be discussed
We offer a position:
of 80% to 100%, to be discussed
with an administrative part in the morning, with the children in the afternoon
varied, within a young, dynamic, and international team
in a large family school (165 children welcomed)
in collaboration with experienced bilingual educators
Your profile:
• Holder of an ASE or EDE title, or deemed equivalent, foreign diplomas studied
• Enjoying working in a team, open to dialogue and sharing
• Autonomous, proactive, organized
• Willing to engage in the pedagogy
Montessori practiced by the school
• Having several years of experience working with children
• Good command of English desired
• Swiss nationality or valid work permit
Your mission:
Be responsible for the physical, moral, and emotional safety of the children welcomed
Ensure coherence in practice between the school and extracurricular care by being aligned with Montessori principles and values
Supervise the work of the extracurricular team and ensure its cohesion and proper functioning
Promote good professional practices and set an example at all times
Ensure that all elements necessary for the smooth running of the days are up to date and that the information necessary for good organization is known to the team
Collaborate with the entire educational team (school and extracurricular) to optimally support the children welcomed
Develop a positive attitude towards respect for others, the environment, and materials.
Encourage reasonable consumption of resources
Animate and/or propose educational and varied activities
Collaborate with parents to exchange useful information in a climate of benevolent partnership
Anticipate problems and propose solutions
Ensure smooth communication between administration/management and the extracurricular team
Collaborate with the apprentice supervisor for the guidance and support of young trainees
Actively promote bilingualism
Establish a varied, original, and interesting activity offer for the holidays, adapted to the weather and the children
