Health Office | 80% | Chur
The Health Office is a central service of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. It implements federal and cantonal legal requirements and thus makes a significant contribution to a high-quality, safe and future-proof healthcare provision in the canton.
The office is divided into the following specialist areas: authorisations and supervision of health professions and institutions, cantonal medical service, medicinal products and narcotics control, finance and controlling, health promotion and prevention, as well as the Graubünden medical emergency call service.
The Department of Elderly and Long-term Care will implement the payment of care contributions established as part of the partial revision of the Nursing Care Act from January 2027.
- Advising applicants, persons in need of care and recognised bodies in the area of recognition contributions for care
- Responsibility for the entire application process, from receipt, examination and processing of applications and eligibility requirements to payment, in cooperation with internal and external bodies
- Management of electronic files
- You have a qualification in nursing, medical practice assistance, social work or a comparable education
- You bring several years of professional experience in nursing or social work, counselling or similar
- You enjoy interacting and communicating with caregiving contact persons, benefit recipients, service providers as well as conducting clarifications in the area of framework conditions and look forward to building and further developing this position with us
- You are proficient in using MS Office programmes or M365 and apply the common applications confidently and efficiently; you are also experienced in handling digital specialist applications
- You communicate fluently in German, both orally and in writing. Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is an advantage
