For the Mattertal Tunnel, which will in future ensure the year-round public transport connection between Täsch and Zermatt, we rely on BIM in planning. For this, we are looking for a proactive personality in Brig/Glisergrund and/or Täsch/Zermatt as Head of Mattertal Tunnel (m/f/d), 80-100%

Your tasks:

• You take over the overall project management on behalf of the client for the Mattertal Tunnel project from planning through execution to commissioning

• You lead an interdisciplinary team of internal employees and external partner companies and actively participate in the management team of the Infrastructure division

• You lead, coordinate and supervise planning, tendering and construction work and are responsible for communication with authorities and external stakeholders

• You ensure project execution according to the project management concept of the BVZ/MGB group and ensure that budget, deadlines and quality are met, and you take over contract and change management

• You contribute to other railway infrastructure projects mainly in the field of tunnel construction (depending on availability)

Your profile:

• You have a degree as a civil or electrical engineer from a university / university of applied sciences or a comparable education – ideally complemented by further training in business administration and project management.

• Proven professional experience in managing large construction projects, ideally in the field of tunnel and railway construction, is a must

• You have very good technical understanding, sound knowledge of railway infrastructure and a great interest in the mobility of the future.

• You bring a lot of initiative, implementation strength, a networked and pronounced entrepreneurial thinking and high social competence

• You are a winning person with good communication skills

• As a resilient personality with a reliable working style, you have already demonstrated your leadership and project management experience in a similar industry.
