Internship for the Year 2027 for Assistant Psychologists

offers the opportunity to undertake internships for the year 2027 for post-graduate clinical practice for assistant psychologists in view of completing training pursuant to the "Regulation concerning the practice of the profession of psychologist active in the healthcare sector and psychotherapist" of 27 March 2013 for professional practice, at the following OSC facilities subject to availability of vacancies:

• Psycho-educational Centres (CPE), Stabio, Lugano and Gerra-Piano
• Canton Psychiatric Clinic (CPC), Mendrisio
• Competence Centre for Eating Behaviour Disorders (DCA), Mendrisio
• Home Treatment (HT), Bellinzona, Lugano-Viganello
• Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Care Unit (UCPP), San Pietro di Stabio
• Medical-Psychological Services (SMP) for minors, Mendrisio, Lugano-Viganello, Locarno and Bellinzona
• Psycho-social Services (SPS) for adults, Chiasso, Lugano-Viganello, Locarno and Bellinzona
• Psychiatry and Medical Psychology Service (SPPM), Savosa

Duration: from 6 to 12 months (100% - 50%)

Salary: current executive directive on salaries for auxiliary staff contracts

Requirements:

• degree or licence in psychology obtained from a Swiss university or, if obtained from a foreign university, federal recognition of the diploma issued by the Psychological Professions Commission PsiCo (pursuant to Articles 2 and 3 of the Federal Law on Psychological Professions (LPPsi))
• knowledge of the territory and the social-health network of the Canton Ticino
• perfect knowledge of the Italian language and knowledge of another official language
• possess an adequate psycho-attitudinal profile for professional practice
• ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, proactive attitude, adaptability, empathy and relational skills

Special notes:

• location: to be defined
• candidates currently completing the final year of a master’s degree in psychology may submit an application or participate in recruitment provided they guarantee obtaining the degree and/or its recognition by 31.12.2026. Any assignment of the internship position will automatically lapse if the indicated date is not met
• those who have already submitted an application for 2026 must, if still interested, resubmit all the required documentation

• curriculum vitae
• master’s degree, licence or diploma in psychology and, if not yet obtained, self-certification with expected date of achievement and at which University
• in case of foreign qualification, full PsiCo recognition
