About the job
To complement our team in plant construction, we are looking for a motivated individual who values personal responsibility and is passionate about "the big picture". Millions of tonnes of excavation material are transported annually by our conveyor systems in tunnel construction. The flawless operation of this is the achievement of all involved, including the electrical engineer. Your tasks- Conversion and retrofit of existing control cabinets and control containers
- Assembly and wiring of new control cabinets and control containers for our conveyor belt systems
- Testing and troubleshooting
- Management of warehouse and parts storage
- Service and maintenance work on the electrical systems and equipment of the workshop
- Installation and commissioning at the customer’s site
- Basic electrical training as an automation technician, electrician (or equivalent)
- Interest in plant construction and controls
- Good knowledge of reading electrical schematics
- Solution-oriented personality with a high degree of independence and enjoyment of working autonomously
- Good German language skills; English and/or Italian are an advantage
- Driving licence category B and a certain willingness to travel (approx. 10-20% project-based travel activity for installations and commissioning in Switzerland and neighbouring countries)
