Electrician EFZ with Ex Qualification

United Disinfectant Manufacturers AG develops and produces disinfection and cleaning products and distributes them in over 70 countries. For our production site in Fehraltorf, we are urgently seeking an experienced electrician EFZ for a fixed-term assignment of three months.

The focus of your work is on new installations as well as the expansion and renewal of existing electrical installations in our buildings and production areas.

Part of the work takes place in explosion-hazardous areas. Therefore, in addition to practical experience, you must also have the required specific expertise or personnel competence for the installation of electrical systems in Ex zones 1 and 2 according to SN EN 60079-14 or an equivalent qualification.

Your tasks

• New installation, expansion and renewal of electrical installations in existing buildings and production areas
• Execution of high and low voltage installations, including data and network cabling
• Assembly, connection and wiring of electrical systems, components, distributions and control cabinets
• Professional execution of electrical installations in Ex zones 1 and 2
• Adjustment of existing installations as well as fault finding and troubleshooting within the scope of the work performed

Your profile

• Completed training as an electrician EFZ or a comparable, Switzerland-recognised electrotechnical qualification
• Several years of practical experience in carrying out electrical installations
• Experience with new installations, conversions and renewals in existing buildings
• Proven specific expertise or personnel competence for electrical installations in explosion-hazardous areas according to SN EN 60079-14 or an equivalent qualification
• Practical experience with electrical installations in Ex zones 1 and 2
• Independent, careful and reliable working style
• Good technical understanding and manual dexterity
• Strong sense of safety, order and clean work execution

Advantageous

• Experience in an industrial, production or chemical company
• Experience in switchgear construction and with controls
• Knowledge in LAN, network cabling and industrial networks
• Further training as an electrical safety advisor or electrical project manager for installation and safety

What we offer you

• CHF 10,000–12,000 gross per month, depending on experience and qualification
• Fixed-term employment for 3 months
• Work from Monday to Friday
