About the job

You are at the end of your WMS time and want to kickstart your career in the finance industry? Then the BEM internship at BKB is your turbo entry into practice – you will become a banking professional in 18 months.

Because Zoe, Yannick, Lana, Luan and other interns are looking for committed reinforcement.

What awaits youDuring the 18-month internship, you will have many opportunities for your personal development, be in the thick of things rather than just on the sidelines, gain valuable experience during three varied assignments and dive deep into the banking world, for example:

• Customer advice in person at the counter or by phone
• Carrying out account openings, payments & payment transactions
• In-depth advice on loans, investments & banking products for private and corporate customers
• Projects and exciting insights into digital banking solutions
• Completion with the nationally recognised Swiss banking industry certificate (BEM).

📍 Bank branches in BaselYour training place with us, where you will be supported and accompanied by experienced practical trainers.

📍 CYP (Challenge Your Potential)

Here you complete the inter-company banking courses and deepen your banking knowledge with modern learning methods.

📍 IGKG

Here you complete the supplementary inter-company courses and deepen your service and administration knowledge.

📍 Internal sales training & specialist courses

We offer you various training sessions to prepare you for consultations, communication with customers and the sale of banking services.

You suit us if you...

• have completed your gymnasial, commercial vocational (KV or WMS) or specialised Matura by August 2027 with good to very good results in German, Mathematics, Economics, English and French
• are interested in the world of business and banking
• communicate confidently in German and constructively say what you think
• enjoy advising people from diverse backgrounds and like to approach others openly
• are a team player, work independently and reliably, and are motivated to learn new things
• are interested in digital trends and like to try out new technologies such as artificial intelligence
