About the job
At the Kastanienhof School Centre in St. Margarethen, around 150 pupils from kindergarten to 6th grade are taught in mixed-age classes. The school complex consists of three buildings located close to each other with a shared playground and a large playing field.
To complement our team, we are looking for a motivated and committed kindergarten teacher for the 2026/27 school year, starting 1 August 2026, for 6 weekly lessons.
You will teach a kindergarten class of around 20 pupils on Mondays. Both kindergarten classes attend physical education together. In the afternoon, only the older kindergarten children are taught.
You are a proactive individual who
- holds a Swiss-recognised teaching diploma for the kindergarten level
- values high teaching quality and enjoys the tasks entrusted to you
- approaches others with openness and appreciation and treats them with respect
- sees themselves as part of a team and is willing to actively help shape our school
We offer you
- the opportunity to work in a lively and committed team with great passion
- a well-equipped and modern workplace
- support from specialist and teaching staff, school social work, and school management
- the possibility of financial support for further education
Have we sparked your interest in our school? We value open and transparent collaboration. Mutual support is as important to us as respectful interaction.
