Seelsorge.net is an offering from the Reformed and Catholic Churches of Switzerland. Pastoral care is provided anonymously, exclusively online and asynchronously via e-mail. Our volunteer pastoral carers advise from a Christian stance but meet those seeking advice unconditionally.
The position is offered on a mandate basis for a duration of one year with the option to extend.
Areas of responsibility
- Strategic further development of the offering in the changing environment of digital services
- Management of ongoing business and implementation of the objectives of the sponsoring commission
- Leadership and support of the pastoral care team, the mail master team, the personnel and planning commission and the external supervisors
- Medium- and long-term securing of the financing of seelsorge.net
- Responsibility for financial controlling, budget and multi-year financing plan
- Management of external service providers to ensure the technical infrastructure and its further development
- Marketing and communication: strategy and implementation of online measures and public relations including annual report
- Responsibility for and further development of quality assurance measures
- Networking and maintaining contacts with partners
Profile
- All-rounder profile with entrepreneurial thinking and proven leadership experience in the non-profit sector (finance, marketing and communication, personnel and IT)
- Strong in both conception and independent, precise detailed implementation
- Technical flair: understanding of online measures and interface processes
- Communicative and team-oriented, with confident, publicly effective appearance, enjoyment of networking and negotiation skills
- Identification with the mission statement of Seelsorge.net
- Understanding of the structures and functioning of the Swiss church landscape
- Knowledge of pastoral care and counselling practice is an advantage
- Ideally, you are already self-employed and have your own workplace infrastructure as well as the necessary social insurances
