Team Leader Accounting (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities
- Professional and personnel leadership of the accounting team (6 people), including coaching, development, and fostering a learning-oriented team culture
- Responsibility for monthly and annual financial statements according to Swiss accounting standards (OR)
- Ensuring high data quality as well as compliance with internal guidelines and control frameworks
- Main contact person for internal and external audits, including tax audits
- Responsibility for indirect tax obligations including Swiss and international VAT compliance, accounting and reconciliation; support with direct tax matters (e.g. corporate tax)
- Maintaining close communication with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and contributing to process optimisation in collaboration with other departments (SCM, sales, etc.)
- Analysis and improvement of end-to-end financial processes (Purchase-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Record-to-Report)
- Participation in ERP developments and digitalisation initiatives
- You critically question existing accounting processes and tools, bring optimisation ideas and drive their implementation forward
Your profile
- Advanced professional training in finance and accounting (at least a federal diploma in finance and accounting or equivalent)
- 8-10 years of experience in accounting, ideally in an international and/or industrial environment
- Leadership competence; enjoyment of team leadership, coaching and knowledge transfer
- Sound knowledge of Swiss accounting (OR), direct taxes (e.g. corporate tax) and indirect taxes (Swiss and international VAT), including experience with VAT accounting and reconciliation
- Proficient use of SAP ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills, structured working style and high reliability
- Proactive, solution-oriented and able to work independently
- Clear communication and cooperative attitude
- Fluent German skills as well as good English skills in spoken and written form
