The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden, with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.

We are looking for

In the acute somatic care area under the nursing management of Ms Dragica Novakovic, we are seeking immediately or by arrangement a team leader for our nursing emergency department.

Your tasks

• Personnel and organisational leadership of employees with different functions in the adult emergency department (experts in emergency care NDS HF, FaGe's, MPA's, nursing assistants, interns)
• Active participation in emergency operations in all shifts and treatment of emergency patients of all triage categories
• Electronic documentation and planning of care
• Contribution to appreciative, respectful, interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
• Co-design of projects and process optimisations in the emergency area
• Further development of the emergency department through concepts

Your profile

• You have completed training as a certified expert in emergency care NDS HF and have professional experience in this field
• You have leadership experience and ideally have completed leadership training
• You are an open-minded and very positive person
• Willingness to actively participate in all shifts
• In addition to professional skills, you bring high social competence and keep an overview even in hectic situations
• You are interested in contributing to the development of the emergency department
