Are you confident in preparing financial statements according to Swiss Code of Obligations (OR) and IFRS and wish to apply your experience in an international environment? Then a versatile finance position awaits you.
The company is part of an internationally active corporate group and serves various international markets from Eastern Switzerland. A multicultural environment and close collaboration with the international parent company shape the daily work routine. As part of a replacement, an experienced individual is sought immediately or by arrangement as a Finance and Accounting Specialist 80–100%. Together with a Financial Controller and another specialist, you will form a three-person finance team. You will take on a central role in financial accounting and be responsible in particular for monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and IFRS as well as tasks related to consolidation.
Your responsibilities with the new employer:
- You independently manage the financial accounting and are responsible for ongoing transactions in the general and subsidiary ledgers, including account reconciliations
- You independently prepare the monthly and annual financial statements according to OR and IFRS and handle the corresponding reporting to the international parent company
- You participate in the monthly and annual consolidations and prepare VAT returns, tax declarations, as well as various statistics, evaluations, and analyses
- In addition to your finance duties, you take on tasks in personnel administration and serve as a competent contact person for auditors, banks, insurance companies, and tax authorities
You offer your new employer:
- You hold the Swiss Federal Certificate in Finance and Accounting or a commercial apprenticeship with several years of solid professional experience in accounting
- You are confident in preparing financial statements according to OR and IFRS and bring sound experience in independently preparing monthly and annual financial statements
- You have experience in personnel administration as well as knowledge in consolidation and Swiss tax law; knowledge of Abacus is an advantage
- Good English skills as well as an independent, structured, and precise working style characterise you, and you feel comfortable in an international and versatile working environment
