JOB DESCRIPTION:
For our Diabetes Care Team, we are looking for a
Commercial Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) Representative
experienced for the "French-speaking Switzerland" region.
Blood glucose monitoring is essential to the success of diabetes treatment. Abbott Diabetes Care's innovative products, such as the innovative FreeStyle Libre system, allow diabetics to lead an almost normal life. Every day, we find the motivation necessary to support the modern and successful treatment of diabetics.
Your responsibilities:
- Promotion, sales and deployment of continuous glucose monitoring solutions to general practitioners, diabetes specialists, as well as managers and decision-makers within clinics and specialised medical practices
- Promotion of the use of digital tools and solutions to doctors, in order to optimise care pathways and the quality of patient advice
- Responsibility for achieving or exceeding the predefined turnover and market share objectives in the corresponding sector as well as other KPIs (key performance indicators)
- Implementation of the sales and marketing strategy applicable throughout Switzerland for the different target groups
- Development of customer relationships through understanding their needs and proposing ADC solutions within local guidelines
- Presence at regional and national trade fairs
- Organisation and delivery of training events for specialised staff and patients
- Function as contact person for diabetes patient groups
- Analysis and evaluation of sector figures, implementation of measures and professional reporting to the sales director
- Continuous improvement through internal and external training programmes to meet the requirements of target groups
Your profile:
- You are a recognised sales professional.
- You have a medical/paramedical background and are already successful within a sales department (in pharmacy or medical technology). Knowledge of different therapy forms for diabetic patients, the market sector and blood sugar/glucose readers is an advantage.
- We also accept applications from experienced sales profiles with B2B experience, for example in information technology, communications, hospital consulting; the requirement is the willingness to quickly acquire the necessary medical knowledge and your talent to engage and convince customers.
- Your place of residence is within the covered sector, your mother tongue is French. You have excellent knowledge of German and English.
- You have a strong personality and leadership qualities, adopt impeccable professional behaviour and want to make a difference.
- You have a clear affinity for new technologies.
- Thanks to your winning and dynamic attitude and your advisory skills, you manage to enthuse your customers about Abbott Diabetes Care products and build their loyalty.
