Main Responsibilities
- Professional and organizational support in projects for the further development of regulatory foundations in the credit and mortgage sector (of banks and insurance companies)
- Conducting supervisory discussions on credit risks with specialists and line representatives of banks and insurance companies (e.g., as part of on-site inspections conducted by FINMA), but also with representatives of auditing companies and other authorities
- Assessment of the risk situation in the lending of individual banks as well as evaluation and risk assessment of credit analyses provided by banks for available credit cases. You will deal with both internal banking and regulatory risk metrics to assess the impact, particularly on the credit risk situation and its evaluation at supervised institutions.
- Close collaboration with the responsible line supervision function or other internal units in credit risk-related supervisory dialogues
- Development, processing, analysis, and review of reports and data collections with credit risk-relevant information
Profile
- University or university of applied sciences degree in economics (e.g., finance, banking with a quantitative focus) or in a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in credit risk management or finance at banks with a focus on the areas of credit or mortgage market
- Strong ability to understand complex relationships and communicate appropriately in writing and verbally
- Good data analysis skills
- Independent, proactive working style even in complex situations
- Very good German or French language skills (C2) as well as good knowledge of the other language (B2) and good English skills (B2)
