In this role, you will lead our operational purchasing team and, together with your employees, ensure a reliable supply of materials. In addition to the operational day-to-day business, your focus will be on the further development of your team, the optimisation of our purchasing processes, as well as efficient management of delivery dates, inventories, and procurement risks.

Team Lead Operational Purchasing 100% (m/f/d)

The following tasks are part of your core responsibilities:

• Professional and personnel management of operational purchasing
• Ensuring material availability for production and trading products
• Management of delivery dates, inventories, backlogs, and critical materials
• Further development of operational procurement processes
• Establishing reliable monitoring mechanisms
• Prioritisation and escalation management in case of delivery bottlenecks
• Implementation of strategic procurement guidelines in operational purchasing
• Management and development of relevant purchasing KPIs
• Optimisation and standardisation of operational purchasing processes
• Close collaboration with Strategic Purchasing, Production Planning, Logistics, Quality, and Product Development
• Professional cooperation with national and international suppliers
• Participation in cross-departmental supply chain projects

To fit optimally into our purchasing team, you bring the following qualifications:

• Technical or commercial basic training with further education in purchasing, supply chain, or business administration is an advantage
• Several years of professional experience in operational purchasing
• Leadership experience or experience in the professional management of employees
• Very good understanding of material planning, disposition, and inventory management
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented working style
• Strong communication skills and healthy assertiveness
• Very good German and English skills, knowledge of Italian is an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office as well as very good SAP-MM knowledge
