The Centre for Dental Medicine of the University of Zurich (ZZM) is an internationally recognised clinic, training and research centre. In six specialised clinics and one institute, dentists and scientists work at the forefront of knowledge and in interdisciplinary teams to achieve the highest quality in patient care, teaching and research.In the Clinic for Oral Surgery, patients are cared for in the entire field of dentoalveolar outpatient surgery and implantology. Furthermore, a daily mucous membrane consultation takes place. The clinic provides its services according to modern quality-related guidelines.
For our Billing team, we are looking for a committed person as a sickness cover.
Team Leader Billing / Process Manager
Tasks
- Leadership and support of the billing team including personnel deployment planning, task coordination and staff development
- Ensuring correct, complete and timely billing
- Review and processing of services, invoices, cost estimates and cost approvals
- Handling patient enquiries and invoice complaints
- Analysis and optimisation of existing processes as well as development and implementation of efficient workflows
- Creation, monitoring and presentation of relevant KPIs and key figures
- Close cooperation with clinic and team management, reception, treating staff, finance/controlling, IT, HR as well as external partners
Profile
- Solid training or further education in finance, accounting or comparable qualification; at least 6 years of professional experience
- Leadership experience
- Sound knowledge of dental tariff and billing systems as well as in the calculation of cost estimates is an advantage
- Experience in process design and change management
- High affinity for numbers as well as a structured, reliable and solution-oriented way of working
- Assertiveness, conflict ability, negotiation skills and discretion
- Very good German skills; English skills are an advantage
