About the job

The Rudolf Steiner School Winterthur is a lively and warm educational community with around 130 children from kindergarten to 9th grade. Our dedicated team of teachers and staff work together with parents to provide a holistic and child-appropriate education in the spirit of Waldorf pedagogy.

After 9th grade, the further educational path of our pupils leads, among other places, to the Atelier School Zurich, with which we are connected in the area of upper secondary education.

To complement our leadership team, we are looking for a reliable, responsible and highly organised individual who enjoys taking on responsibility and actively shaping our school behind the scenes.

Your tasks

As part of the leadership team and in close cooperation with the school board, you will take on a versatile management role with responsibility particularly for the following areas:

Responsibility for the school's financial processes, especially budgeting, accounting and controllingOrganisation and coordination of administrative processes in everyday school lifeSupport and assistance for internal services, especially the secretariat, caretaking and canteenCommunication and collaboration with cantonal authorities, government agencies, insurance companies and external specialistsLeadership and participation in personnel processes as well as organisational and internal proceduresContact person for parents regarding financial and administrative mattersContribution to the further development of the school's structures and processes

Your profile

You are a committed, reliable and team-oriented individual and ideally bring:

Experience in finance, administration or project management, preferably in the education or non-profit sectorAn independent, structured and careful working style as well as a good understanding of numbersOrganisational talent and enjoyment in coordinating different tasks and areasStrong communication skills and enjoyment of collegial, appreciative collaborationWillingness to take responsibility and contribute your own ideasOpenness to Waldorf pedagogy and interest in anthroposophical ideas
