The Ilgenhalde location is one of our three institutions. It offers school, housing, and therapy for children and adolescents from 4 to 20 years old in Fehraltorf. From August 1, 2026 (work start from 13.08.2026) or by arrangement, we are looking for a specialist for our newly created position who enjoys shaping new things and filling the position with ideas, structure, and life.

School Social Worker 60% workload

These are your tasks:

Interface between various internal and external contacts, close cooperation with the site management
Coordination and case management in complex collaboration issues with children and adolescents as well as their environment
(Co-)coordination of admissions and discharges of children and adolescents
Advising parents on financing issues
Searching for follow-up solutions for youth 15+ in cooperation with parents and caregivers

What you bring with you:

Degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy (tertiary level)
Further training and experience in school social work
Confident handling of sensitive topics and a professional, empathetic demeanor
Resilience, personal responsibility, and good self-management
Teamwork skills and good communication competencies
