As a Project Manager Plastics Engineering, you accompany customer projects from the initial enquiry through technical development and costing to successful implementation. In doing so, you further develop existing solutions, optimise products and processes, and coordinate collaboration between the customer, design, production, purchasing, and suppliers.

Project Manager Plastics Engineering (m/f/d)
Your Tasks
- Technical processing and support of customer enquiries and projects from feasibility assessment and clarification of requirements through solution development to implementation
- Review and further development of existing solution approaches regarding manufacturing optimisation, material selection, tool costs, multifunctionality, and process-integrated rework
- Costing of plastic parts, tools, and equipment as well as preparation and creation of quotations and project proposals
- Leadership and participation in projects as well as coordination of technical implementation up to series maturity
- Technical advice and representation of customer interests within the company as well as handling product changes and customer complaints
- Close cooperation with field service, acquisition, design, purchasing, production, and suppliers as well as ensuring transparent information flow
Your Profile
- Technical basic training as a designer or toolmaker, ideally supplemented by further training as a FH engineer or a comparable qualification
- Extensive experience and expertise in the plastics industry, ideally with experience in the development and manufacture of plastic parts
- In-depth knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, APQP, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and 8D process
- Good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP as well as knowledge of CAD
- German at native speaker level as well as good English skills in spoken and written form.
- Team-oriented and solution-oriented with an independent, reliable, and systematic working style
