Project Manager Plastics Engineering (m/f/d)

Your Tasks

• Technical processing and support of customer enquiries and projects from feasibility assessment and clarification of requirements through solution development to implementation
• Review and further development of existing solution approaches regarding manufacturing optimisation, material selection, tool costs, multifunctionality, and process-integrated rework
• Costing of plastic parts, tools, and equipment as well as preparation and creation of quotations and project proposals
• Leadership and participation in projects as well as coordination of technical implementation up to series maturity
• Technical advice and representation of customer interests within the company as well as handling product changes and customer complaints
• Close cooperation with field service, acquisition, design, purchasing, production, and suppliers as well as ensuring transparent information flow

Your Profile

• Technical basic training as a designer or toolmaker, ideally supplemented by further training as a FH engineer or a comparable qualification
• Extensive experience and expertise in the plastics industry, ideally with experience in the development and manufacture of plastic parts
• In-depth knowledge of ISO/TS 16949, APQP, FMEA, SPC, PPAP, and 8D process
• Good user knowledge of MS Office and SAP as well as knowledge of CAD
• German at native speaker level as well as good English skills in spoken and written form.
• Team-oriented and solution-oriented with an independent, reliable, and systematic working style
