About the job
We are pleased about your interest in a position within the St. Gallen judiciary. The courts of the Canton of St. Gallen issue over 15,000 decisions each year in a wide variety of legal areas. The court staff work daily on behalf of those seeking justice to ensure an independent and efficient judiciary, thereby making a valuable contribution to the rule of law.
The Cantonal Court of St. Gallen is the highest cantonal appellate authority in civil and criminal matters. The criminal chamber of the Cantonal Court adjudicates appeals against decisions of the district courts as well as their individual judges. The Cantonal Court employs around 60 staff members.
We are looking for a candidate for the criminal chamber from 1 August 2026 or by agreement
