Elements of the role
- Professional leadership and further development of the "Technical Office Tafers" team consisting of civil engineers, draftsmen and designers
- Planning and coordination of construction work as well as development of technical solutions and execution methods, including support during the calculation phase
- Monitoring ongoing projects, planning work and productions
- Interface management with production, sales and project management as well as active exchange in specialist committees and meetings
- Spot checks and visual inspections in ongoing production, quality of calculations and plans as well as ensuring compliance with SIA standards and SUVA requirements
- Support in digital development, new technologies and process optimisation
Your foundation
- Engineer in civil engineering; structural engineering (FH, ETH or equivalent)
- Solid experience (5+ years desirable) in planning and realising (complex) construction projects; advantageously with precast concrete
- Very good knowledge of Swiss construction practice and relevant SIA standards
- Solution-oriented and entrepreneurial thinking and acting
- Authentic leadership personality with strong communication skills and willingness to cooperate
- German and French spoken and written
- Proficiency in specialist software (Tekla Structures, Cubus or similar), knowledge of BIM is an advantage
