To strengthen our team in Biel, we are looking for a committed and qualified person as a Production Technician (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

• Assembly and adjustment of PCBA prototypes (printed circuit board assemblies) for internal and external use
• SMT placement with prototype machine as well as hand soldering of PCBA (SMT and THT)
• Timely processing of internal production orders: picking, preparation and assembly
• Management of components, semi-finished and finished products in the Biel warehouse, including procurement and inventory counts
• Maintenance and upkeep of machinery and equipment
• Goods receipt and dispatch, including packaging and shipping of orders
• Compliance with 5S standards in production and warehouse as well as active participation in continuous improvement

Qualifications

• EFZ qualification or comparable technical qualification (e.g. automation technician, electronics technician)
• 3–5 years of professional experience in SMT and THT assembly
• Basic knowledge of IPC-A-610 (quality standard for electronic assemblies)
• Good dexterity for working with small parts as well as a hands-on mentality
• German language skills, both spoken and written, are mandatory; English skills are an advantage
• Basic computer skills
