About the job
No building application is the same - with us you can expect a varied, forward-looking task. You ensure long-term space along our cantonal roads, weigh interests and enable private individuals to realise their construction projects.
Your tasks
- You conduct internal and external consultations on development concepts, local and zoning plans, building line, development and design plans as well as cantonal road projects, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements and regulations.
- Within the framework of the building permit procedure, you coordinate with other departments and ensure smooth information flow between internal and external parties.
- You secure the necessary scope for future cantonal road projects through forward-looking spatial reservation. In doing so, you also assess minimum distances of buildings to cantonal roads and release them proportionally if necessary.
- You assess visibility zones at entrances and exits and the technical feasibility of the surrounding design along the cantonal road.
- You approach planning authorities with a solution-oriented attitude and bring understanding for the various needs.
Your profile
- A completed apprenticeship as a draughtsperson in civil engineering (civil/road construction), ideally supplemented by further training in civil engineering, forms your professional basis.
- Sound knowledge of VSS standards and legal foundations in road construction distinguish you as well as a pronounced technical understanding of construction.
- You bring several years of professional experience in civil engineering, experience in building administration is an advantage.
- As a solution-oriented and communicative personality, you find pragmatic solutions and convince in dealing with different stakeholders.
- You like to take responsibility - also where discretion is required.
