Our modern logistics centre with around 180 employees ensures that the branches and our online customers are supplied with goods daily. Thanks to efficient and cost-effective logistics, we can offer our customers an optimal range.
For our team of up to 50 people, we are looking for a team leader for outbound goods.
As a team leader for outbound goods, you will ensure, together with your team, the timely supply of our branches and online customers. You will take responsibility for the operational control of processes, deployment planning, and the professional leadership of employees.
Your area of responsibility:
- You professionally lead the employees in the operational day-to-day business
- You independently plan personnel deployments according to the group leader's specifications and ensure optimal resource distribution within the team
- You coordinate and prioritise operational as well as administrative tasks and ensure a smooth workflow in daily business
- You ensure the timely and qualitatively flawless handling of outbound goods processes as well as an efficient material flow
- You coordinate branch deliveries and special transports, working closely with internal interfaces, branches, and external transport partners
- You monitor the systems and conveyor belts, coordinate necessary measures in case of technical malfunctions, and work closely with the technical department
- You ensure compliance with quality, safety, and process standards, support the onboarding and development of employees and apprentices, and drive continuous optimisation of workflows
Our requirements:
- You have completed training as a logistics specialist EFZ or have a comparable commercial or business management qualification. Ideally, you already hold a forklift licence or are willing to obtain one
- You bring at least three years of professional experience, ideally in retail or a retail-related environment. Initial leadership experience is an advantage and complements your profile
- You are proficient in MS Office and warehouse management systems (WMS) and ideally have experience in route planning
- You communicate confidently in German, both spoken and written, at least at level B2; additional national languages are an advantage
- You are physically resilient and able to regularly lift loads of up to 30 kilograms
- You work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, and are characterised by a strong process understanding and a high sense of responsibility
- As a resilient, flexible, and team-oriented personality, you keep an overview even in demanding situations and under time pressure and impress with your professional manners
