The Section of Archaeology and Ancient Sciences of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Lausanne is advertising a position for a graduate assistant in ancient history.
Position Information
Start date: 1 September 2026
Contract duration: one year, renewable twice for two years, total maximum duration of 5 years
Work rate: 80%
Workplace: Lausanne-Dorigny
Your Activities
At least 50% of the work rate will be dedicated to completing a doctoral thesis.
Up to 50% of the work rate will be devoted to supporting teaching and research tasks.
Your Profile
Master of Arts (or equivalent qualification) in ancient history.
Willingness to develop a thesis in Late Antiquity.
