About the job
The completion of a complex major project requires long-term coordination and control measures, especially involving the various national and European testing and certification bodies. Only once the formal requirements have been met following successful planning and construction can railway operations commence. You will ensure this alongside the planning and construction phases of the infrastructure measures and professionally lead a team of internal and external colleagues:
- Your task is to ensure overarching coordination and control of the numerous commissioning processes within the route sections Hohberg – Freiburg – Basel, taking into account the planned schedule, cost, and quality framework
- You compile the project documentation as well as all necessary documents for commissioning
- You are responsible for opportunity and risk management within the scope of the commissioning processes
- You coordinate consultations with internal departments, external engineering and expert offices, as well as authorities
- You manage the implementation of traffic and operational requirements together with the team
- You professionally lead external service providers and the commissioning project management team and review the services provided
- Regular reporting on project progress and deviations from targets is within your area of responsibility
- You have a completed degree in civil, electrical, or industrial engineering or a comparable qualification
- Furthermore, you have solid professional experience in project management or project leadership and have experience with commissioning control of railway infrastructure processes
- Leading and professionally guiding project participants comes easily to you
- You demonstrate competence and diligence in working with international regulations (EU, Germany, Switzerland)
- You possess analytical thinking skills and good observational abilities and convince through team spirit, coordination skills, as well as a committed, reliable, and independent working style
- Your communication skills and organisational talent ensure smooth coordination with authorities and external partners
- You maintain project-related data up to date and process-compliant in common programmes such as Jira, VRI DMS, InGe, or iTWO
