System Engineer IT (m/f) 80-100%

The energy sector is undergoing constant change. Switzerland's energy strategy and the resulting changes pose a major challenge for the entire energy industry. Powerful and secure IT systems are a key element and, together with digitalization, form a central success factor.

We operate our IT systems in-house and place great value on redundancy and security. In the coming years, we will implement exciting and demanding IT projects, including the rollout of smart meters and the implementation of smart grids as well as the digitalization of business processes.

This is your job

• Management, organization, and development of the virtualization environment, both at the server level and for end devices and applications
• Management, organization, and development of the network (LAN, WLAN, WAN)
• Participation in the development of cyber awareness and implementation of best practices
• Participation in various projects at the level of management and organization of IT components
• Close collaboration with the ServiceDesk according to defined ITIL processes

This is what you bring

• Basic training as an IT specialist EFZ
• Ideally, higher education at HF/FH level in the field of IT or equivalent training
• Several years of professional experience in a similar role and/or with cybersecurity topics
• Passion for the technological field and great interest in cybersecurity
• High sensitivity for high-quality and up-to-date documentation
• High reliability, entrepreneurial spirit, solution-oriented
• Main language German or French with good knowledge of the other language and oral and written proficiency in English
