Flying Teachers offers a teaching assignment for a full school year in the subjects of German, Mathematics and General Education.

Start: Mid August 2026

Course location: Zurich

Course times: Monday to Friday, 08:50 - 12:30 and 13:50 - 15:15 (except Wednesday afternoons)

Lessons: approx. 1120 lessons of 45 minutes each

Course description:

• You will teach and support young refugees (16-25 years) during a school year and prepare them for the regular structures of upper secondary education.
• You will teach the subjects German, Mathematics, General Education and impart PC skills.
• You will promote and teach learning strategies and techniques.

Number of participants: max. 16 persons

Requirements for the teacher:

• Training as a teacher at primary or lower/upper secondary level or equivalent qualification
• Additional qualification in the area of German as a second language (DaZ) (fide, EUROLTA or equivalent)
• Knowledge and experience in competence-oriented and adult-appropriate didactics
• You are familiar with labour market and vocational preparation
• You have experience teaching the target group
• You are a assertive personality with high social competence
