Job Description

On behalf of our client, a Swiss fintech specialised in innovative financial solutions, we are looking for a Senior AI Engineer.

Within a small team, you will design and deploy solutions based on LLMs, with a primary focus on developing the AI assistant and its agents. In collaboration with product teams and domain experts, you will ensure their reliability, performance, and security in a regulated financial environment.

You will join an international technical team to develop AI solutions in production within a startup environment that values autonomy and trust. Full-time position, remote work, ideally from Switzerland or a nearby time zone, with the possibility to work from the Geneva offices. Start date as soon as possible, depending on your notice period.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and deploy AI agents and workflows integrating tools, scheduling, and error management.
• Ensure reliability of responses through connected data and document retrieval (RAG).
• Develop agents for scheduled tasks, with safeguards and cost monitoring.
• Automate evaluations and prevent regressions in CI/CD.
• Optimise quality, performance, costs, and traceability of systems.
• Protect data and secure sensitive actions.
• Contribute to technical choices, code reviews, and team support.

We are looking for a profile meeting the following criteria:

• At least three years of backend development experience with TypeScript/Node.js or Python.
• Good command of APIs, PostgreSQL, AWS cloud, and CI/CD.
• Experience deploying LLM features and agents using tools.
• Practice with RAG, embeddings, vector search, and prompt and context management.
• Skills in AI system evaluation and statistical analysis of results.
• Autonomy, strong writing skills, and ability to manage complex projects.
• Degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Assets: LangGraph, Claude Agent SDK, MCP, observability tools, Terraform, blockchain, fine-tuning, or experience in a regulated financial environment.
• Professional English; French is an advantage.
