• Together with your colleagues in the central network control centre, you ensure the safe and reliable operation of the AEW power grid
• You monitor and control the 16 kV distribution network and coordinate switching operations with the regional centres
• In case of faults, you analyse the situation, initiate the necessary measures and coordinate their resolution
• You operate the network control system and keep an overview even in demanding situations
• You create, check and approve switching orders and emergency plans
• You document events carefully and keep network documents and network diagrams up to date
• Your contribution ensures supply security for our customers
• There is no shift work for you. Instead, you regularly take on on-call duty and support the assurance of power supply during faults and extraordinary events

• You have completed basic electrical engineering training and have experience in handling electrical installations
• You have already completed a master craftsman examination or further training at HF level (e.g. electrical engineering, energy or systems engineering) or are willing to do so
• You have at least three years of professional experience in the field of high-voltage installations
• You use MS Office confidently and routinely in your daily work
• You communicate clearly and precisely even under time pressure and understand Swiss German well
• You find it easy to take responsibility and make well-founded decisions even in demanding situations
• You work independently, reliably and keep a cool head even in hectic moments
• You enjoy working with different stakeholders and appreciate direct interaction with people
• Your place of residence is within approximately 30 minutes of Aarau
