About the job

Under the umbrella of RaJoVita, the Foundation for Health and Ageing of the City of Rapperswil-Jona, we offer a familial home to 175 elderly people in need of care in two nursing centres and a care apartment. A day centre as well as the Spitex ideally complement our comprehensive range of services. Our 355 employees aim to ensure personal, needs-based and loving care and support.

We are looking for an immediate or agreed start for a

SRK Care Assistant (50-70%) in Home Care at RaJoVita

Your Tasks

• Supporting clients with basic care and daily living
• Promoting the independence and quality of life of the people cared for
• Carrying out domestic tasks (laundry, warming meals, shopping, etc.)
• Observing and documenting health status
• Performing basic nursing tasks (personal hygiene, showering, dressing and undressing)

Your Profile

• Completed training as an SRK Care Assistant
• Experience in care, ideally in the Spitex sector, able to work 1-2 weekends and late shifts
• Empathy and enjoyment in working with elderly people
• Flexibility, reliability and ability to work in a team
• Good German language skills, spoken and written (B2 level)
• Category B driving licence advantageous
