Senior HR Specialist Culture & Leadership 100%The Personnel Office of the Canton of Zurich is responsible for all personnel, labour, and social insurance law matters concerning the more than 30,000 employees of the Canton of Zurich. The Human Resources Management (HRM) department encompasses a wide range of tasks and is part of the Personnel Office. HR consulting, vocational training, employer branding, and case management are central to the work.
You get things moving, connect the right people, and turn concepts into lived practice. In doing so, you accompany change processes and team developments and contribute your expertise in leadership and organisation.
The position is limited until 30 April 2028.
Your tasks
- You introduce new HR instruments and leadership processes in the Finance Directorate and accompany them through to practical application – for example, in employee surveys, leadership development, or succession planning.
- You help design programmes and measures around leadership, collaboration, culture, and learning and support their implementation in the various areas of the Finance Directorate.
- You accompany organisational change processes and team developments, working closely with HR consulting and other involved specialist units.
- You design and moderate workshops and methodically and practically support teams and leaders through change and team development processes.
- Together with POE, HR consulting, and other specialist units, you pilot new HR approaches and tools and support their introduction in the Finance Directorate.
- You participate in HR projects, take on cross-departmental tasks, and ensure knowledge transfer within HR management.
Your profile
- You have a university degree in HR management, personnel or organisational psychology, or a comparable qualification.
- You bring several years of experience in a comparable HR function as well as solid experience in accompanying organisational change processes and team developments.
- You are familiar with leadership topics and know various approaches to leadership, collaboration, and organisation.
- You think analytically and conceptually, keep an overview even with complex issues, and develop practical solutions.
- You have strong consulting and communication skills, moderate confidently, and manage to include different stakeholders and perspectives.
- You are familiar with modern HR instruments and current HR trends and are interested in new approaches.
