Your missions
- Ensure the strategic management of the budgets of the University IT Directorate (DIT)
- Supervise the operational management of the DIT budgets
- Ensure financial controlling and budget planning
- Manage the administrative lifecycle of workstations and standard software (from purchase to decommissioning)
- Define software asset management processes to ensure control
- Identify synergies in the software portfolio, support standardisation and implement optimisation measures
- Ensure the quality of the workstation inventory (PC, Mac & Linux), in collaboration with the Service Desk team
- Measure and continuously improve the processes and procedures within the area of responsibility
Desired profile
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree in a technical or economic field or equivalent training
- You have experience in financial management and purchasing (public procurement), ideally in an IT context
- You have experience in software asset management
- You value teamwork and collaboration in a matrix organisation
- You are able to negotiate with internal stakeholders as well as suppliers, while being attentive to their constraints
- You demonstrate a strong service and results orientation. The principles of continuous improvement hold no secrets for you and you are comfortable with project management principles
- You master French or German with good knowledge of the other language; additionally, you master written and spoken English
