For our client, a recognised association in the Bern metropolitan area, we are looking for an upbeat and committed individual as a Caretaker 80-100%

Your tasks:

• Carrying out cleaning work and ensuring a well-maintained appearance of the property
• Responsibility for infrastructure, facilities and general order in the assigned area of responsibility
• Ordering, checking and storing consumables and operating materials
• Operating, checking and monitoring building services systems, as well as independently carrying out minor repairs.
• Coordinating and supervising external craftsmen and service providers
• Obtaining and comparing quotes as well as negotiating prices with suppliers
• Preparing and setting up meeting and conference rooms
• Running errands for the secretariat
• Contributing to the preparation of annual budgets
• Reviewing and assessing investments within own area of responsibility
• Independently planning and prioritising daily tasks

Your profile:

• Completed technical or craft training or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in caretaking, facility management or building operations
• High initiative as well as independent and structured working style
• Entrepreneurial thinking and acting
• Open, committed and service-oriented personality
• Assertiveness and confident manner with internal and external contacts
• Good organisational skills and networked thinking
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written
• Confident use of common Microsoft Office applications
