What you achieve

• Comprehensive handling of property damage claims, especially professional liability cases for liberal professions (e.g. lawyers, notaries, trustees) as well as state liability cases (municipalities and cantons), and depending on profile also personal injury claims across all sectors
• Independent negotiation with policyholders, claimants, lawyers, authorities, and insurers
• Participation in projects and conducting internal training sessions
• Professional support for employees in the claims departments, underwriting, and other internal units
• Area of activity: German-speaking Switzerland (work location by agreement)

What you bring

• Completed legal education, preferably with a lawyer’s licence, or other qualified training (e.g. legal agent); further training in liability/insurance law advantageous (e.g. CAS Liability and Insurance Law)
• Experience in liability, social security, administrative, and/or commercial law
• Enjoyment in handling claims cases with personal contact as well as legal contexts
• Confident command of the German language, English skills desired, additional foreign language skills (especially French, Italian) advantageous
• Solution-oriented, responsible, and independent working style
• Good negotiation skills and strong decision-making ability
• High service mentality and customer orientation
• Strong team player mentality
• Openness to using AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot)
