The Rossfeld Foundation offers schooling, residential groups and therapy for children and young people with physical disabilities who are capable of attending mainstream education. In the canton of Bern, we are the only competence centre for children and young people with physical disabilities in the mainstream school sector.
All interns participate in our internal internship training sessions and receive personal support from our teaching staff.

Tasks
You will
- work in one of ten classes (kindergarten to secondary level)
- support the teachers in remedial education lessons
- have smaller work assignments in the residential groups and other classes
- accompany the pupils to hydrotherapy
- assist during camps and project weeks
Requirements
You bring
- at least 18 years old
- preferably a secondary school leaving certificate or a qualification with EFZ
- interest in training in the educational, remedial education or similar field
- natural aptitude for working with children and young people
- flexibility and straightforwardness
- enjoyment of teamwork
We Offer
You will find a demanding, exciting and varied internship with children and young people. Your main area of work will be in the school sector, but you will also carry out smaller assignments in therapy and in the residential groups. You will work five days a week. We offer varied and interesting teamwork with regular working hours as well as internal training sessions. The school holidays correspond to the holiday schedule of the city of Bern.
