About the Position

These include; thyristors, diodes, gate-turn-off thyristors (GTOs), integrated gate-commutated thyristors (IGCTs), insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs) and MOSFETs - which are valued in industry, power transmission and distribution, mobility, and renewable energies for their high quality and reliability. For our team, we are looking for a temporary automation technician to assist in the assembly and commissioning of our power semiconductor test systems.
What You Can Achieve
Assembly of power semiconductor test systems including mechanics, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic components
Carrying out modifications on faulty designs, manufactured parts or schematics
Checking all mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, programmed and hydraulic functions
Performing grounding measurements (checking the continuity of the protective conductor system according to EN 60204-1 18b)
Creating commissioning and insulation coordination protocols
Executing the commissioning and insulation coordination of test systems
Ensuring compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements
Active participation in optimising processes and systems
What You Bring
Completed training as an automation technician EFZ (possibly with advanced technical college), ideally with professional experience in assembly
Experience in project management
Solid know-how in mechanical processing of materials (turning, milling, drilling, sawing etc.)
Familiarity with power semiconductors, measurement technology as well as relevant guidelines and standards
Confident use of Office 365
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
