ROHRDORFERBERG-REUSSTAL
The Regional Police Rohrdorferberg-Reusstal is responsible for local security in 10 municipalities with around 32,500 inhabitants. To complete our team, we are looking for Police Trainees starting 01.04.2026 and 01.10.2026
(Courses 1/26, Start April 2026 and 2/26, Start October 2026) Your main tasks
You will complete the basic police training at the Intercantonal Police School Hitzkirch over approximately 11 months and then the preliminary exam for the federal professional examination before completing the second year of training within the Regional Police Rohrdorferberg-Reusstal. The training ends with the federal professional examination. As a police officer, you will then patrol in pairs in the 10 contract municipalities around Niederrohrdorf. You will perform general police duties according to PolG and PolD in shift work. Requirements:
- Swiss citizen, ideal age 24-40 years, with an impeccable record
- Completed vocational training, Matura or university degree
- Completed PAP (Police Requirement Test) https://zukunftpolizei.ch
- Very good oral and written expression skills in German
- Convincing appearance, very good manners
- Enjoy working with people, team-oriented and open personality
- Confident handling of IT tools
- Physically fit and healthy
- Willingness to work shifts including regular weekend and night duties
- Driver's license category B
- Training to become a police officer with a federal professional certificate with full salary
- In the 1st year, theory-based basic training at the Intercantonal Police School Hitzkirch/LU
