Head of Supply Chain TORMAX

In this responsible position, you will be responsible, among other things, for the following tasks:

• Analysis, management, and continuous optimisation of the entire supply chain (end-to-end) to increase efficiency and quality as well as reduce lead times and costs
• Strategic and operational management of the procurement of raw materials, merchandise, and negotiation of contracts with national and international suppliers
• Monitoring of inventory levels, ensuring high delivery readiness with minimal storage costs, as well as coordination of transport and customs clearance
• Close collaboration with the sales, production, finance departments, and external logistics partners to ensure seamless coordination
• Leadership, development, and motivation of the supply chain team
• Responsibility for master data quality in the ERP system as well as regular preparation of KPI analyses and reports for management

What you bring:

• Completed studies (ETH, university) in engineering with further education in business administration, logistics, supply chain management
• 10-15 years of professional experience in a comparable role, ideally in a global manufacturing environment
• Technically proficient personality
• Analytical and structured working style
• Negotiation skills and assertiveness
• Fluent German and English skills, both spoken and written; additional languages are an advantage
• Leadership experience
• Willingness to travel
• Sound knowledge of SAP and MS Office applications (especially Excel)
