The Hospitals of Schaffhausen include the Cantonal Hospital, the Psychiatric Services, the Radiology and Cardiology Posthof Neuhausen practices as well as the Neurology Practice Schaffhausen Centre. With over 1,700 employees, we ensure the extended medical and nursing basic care of the Schaffhausen region. Each year, we care for around 11,000 inpatients and 90,000 outpatients. In addition, we are an important training centre in the canton.
For our patient, we are looking for a sitter on an on-call basis for the locations Cantonal Hospital Schaffhausen and Psychiatric Centre Breitenau as soon as possible.

Sitter on an Hourly Wage
What Awaits You
- The safety of patients with a tendency to be at risk is your responsibility
- Your attentiveness prevents the risk of falls and injuries
- You assist in the care of patients in close cooperation with the nursing staff and report to the responsible nurse
- Minimum availability of 4 shifts per month
What You Bring to Us
- An SRK nursing course or a three-month nursing internship in an acute hospital
- You are a medical student or an employee (HF/FaGe) who already has experience as a sitter
- A high sense of responsibility as well as very good German language skills
- Flexibility, especially for short-term assignments during the week and on weekends/public holidays
- You enjoy working in shifts, are resilient, helpful and conscientious
