The St. Josef Foundation is a significant organisation with a social mission in the canton of Aargau. Its core tasks include residential and day-structure opportunities for people with disabilities, the special education school, as well as a diverse therapeutic offering.

Fresh, enjoyable, uncomplicated – that is our Restaurant JoJo. Our public self-service restaurant is located in the heart of the St. Josef Foundation in Bremgarten and offers a versatile and varied selection throughout the day, 365 days a year. Seminars, conferences, events, cultural activities, as well as various corporate or family occasions complete our broad range of services.

Our team is looking for a well-organised and skilled leader with experience in banquet management, who works with passion in the hospitality industry.

• Comprehensive care of our day and event guests on site, ensuring high guest satisfaction and smooth operational processes
• Planning and execution of events, seminars and functions including provision of all necessary resources
• Preparation of offers and billing and other administrative tasks
• Leadership, promotion and motivation of the banquet team
• Ensuring optimal staff deployment planning
• Support of the restaurant management, active participation in all tasks in the restaurant and banquet area, and deputising in the absence of the restaurant management
• Completed training in hospitality and/or gastronomy, or an equivalent qualification, as well as several years of professional experience, ideally 3-5 years of leadership experience
• Winning personality with a strong team spirit
• In dealing with guests, superiors and employees, you demonstrate charm, social competence and an authentic, natural friendliness
• You gladly take on responsibility, are characterised by innovative ideas and are an organisational talent
• High resilience, flexibility and commitment are natural to you (also in the evenings and at weekends)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in German (English and other foreign languages are an advantage)
• Very good Microsoft user skills
• Independent and varied work in a lively environment
